Stunning Digitalis at Chelsea

Sarah from Scotts Miracle-Gro takes some time out on our Chelsea stand
Yesterday (Tuesday) at RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2010 was a whirlwind – lots of visitors to the exhibit all pleased for our 65th Gold Medal. Positive comments all round, and everyone seems to be inspired by the garden and the plant combinations. The Sinocalycalycanthus is, as we expected, a show stealer, and the Digitalis is admired by all.

Well done Team Hilliers. I am not sure where to place this question rather than a comment, so I am sure it can be placed in the right in-tray somewhere
late last week I went into the Winchester Hilliers outlet, to find a large sign saying “PLANTS NOT USED FOR CHELSEA AVAILABLE FOR SALE” My daughter and I hurried round to search the trolleys. I came away with a small leafed round shrub, no name but one of the young men felt sure it was a myrtle (Luma as I understand the group is now known)
The young leaves are darkish, perhaps will be purple as they mature?
From this very poor description, does it give a clue as to the name of this little beauty?
Thank you and your team for all the pleasure you give us.

Purchased packet of Pathclear at Tesco – was horrified by the very high cost and am returning to get a refund – £8.40 seems horrendous! for 6 sachets! Also the product is for very restricted use, how can the very high cost be justified?
