“I joined Scotts in 2004 as UK Marketing Director, and have since progressed to UK General Manager. As part of a global multi-national we have very advanced processes and methods, every bit as good as the major ‘blue chip’ companies. That’s a great environment in it’s own right. But we are relatively small, which means everyone also has to roll up their sleeves and get involved in a wide range of tasks. Personally, I love that combination. More importantly, it enables us to offer some great jobs and careers where people get a mixture of operational tasks and strategic challenges.
