We are looking nationwide for Customer Development Executives to join our ever growing and successful sales team on a 9 month contract starting in January 2011.
We are seeking individuals for the following areas: North East, North West, East Midlands, West Midlands, Wales, South, South East, South West, London, Oxfordshire, Yorkshire.

The Role
Your role will include:
- Developing relationships and supporting each customer account.
- Merchandising all shelf and off-shelf displays.
- Negotiating additional space.
- Increasing range in accounts including supporting new lines.
- Active selling and demonstrations to the public.
- Placing orders.
- Supporting tactical national account activity.
- Placing POS (Point of Sale) material.
- Training in store staff on our product range.
- Supporting and attending Trade Shows.
- Prospecting for and identifying new Customers.
- Dealing with other ad hoc requests from the customer.
Applicants will demonstrate excellent communication skills and be highly motivated with the ability to work independently and with initiative.
The normal working week will be Monday to Friday but flexibility is paramount as weekend and Bank Holiday work will be required for 4 months during peak seasonal activity (this is weather dependent, and is generally April to July).
Please be aware that this role requires lifting products and display units and driving a transit van which will be provided.
Preferred candidates will have a Sales and/or Merchandising background and a keen interest in gardening would be beneficial although not essential. We welcome applicants with experience working within the gardening retail trade.

Production Manager
Location: Gretna
Salary: circa £37,000
The purpose of this job is to manage the effective utilisation of plant, equipment and labour to ensure productivity levels are consistently maintained to agreed standards of Safety, Quality and Cost. You will have direct responsibility for EH&S, Production Planning and Financial budgets.
The ideal candidate has extensive production management experience within a high volume production environment and an understanding of continuous improvement techniques. Experience of finance accountability and strong people management are a must, an engineering background would also be advantageous. You would be expected to have a qualification to degree or Higher National standard in a manufacturing discipline as well as having attained qualifications in safety (Min. IOSH). You will also be naturally results focused with a passion and desire to drive continuous improvement.

Multi Skilled Engineering Technician

Multi Skilled Engineering Technician
Location: Gretna
Salary: circa £22,000 plus overtime
The purpose of this job is to work alongside the production teams to reduce plant and process downtime, shorten breakdown response and improve equipment safety, reliability and productivity. You will provide hands on technical support including; day-to-day plant maintenance, maintenance scheduling, stores stock control and improvement project work.
We are looking for a multi skilled engineer, with experience within production, preferably within FMCG environment, including high speed packaging equipment (form fill and seal, sack-filling, and collation etc.). The successful candidate will be Multi Skilled with a recognised engineering apprenticeship. Ideally you will hold a 16th Edition Regs Certificate with appropriate safety training such as IOSH Certificate. Experienced in Lean Manufacturing techniques and use of proven approaches to breakdowns, you will possess good analytical and fault finding skills with the ability to organise and prioritise as well as implement new ideas.
