Bees in compost bin 05/06/10 17:06 MauraPuckett Registered: Posts: 1 Loc: Greater London I have a bees nest in the bottom of my plastic compost bin - they go in and out through the hatch at the bottom. When I used a fork to turn the material in the bin it was filled with angry bees! Is it right to keep putting material in the top or should I leave it until later in the year when hopefully the bees will leave. I know that bees are vulnerable and therefore do not wish to harm them.
