I have a bees nest in the bottom of my plastic compost bin - they go in and out through the hatch at the bottom. When I used a fork to turn the material in the bin it was filled with angry bees! Is it right to keep putting material in the top or should I leave it until later in the year when hopefully the bees will leave. I know that bees are vulnerable and therefore do not wish to harm them.

I'd call ya local bee man (council and police have the number) they will collect the hive and give then a nice new home! Can't harm bees, they are protected smile
