Nitrogen Deficiency

Description
Nitrogen is a major nutrient that determines plant growth and green leaves. It is easily lost through winter rains so balanced feeding is needed in spring to raise general nutrient levels.
Symptoms
Pale leaves and slow growth.
Treatment and control
General tips
Avoid fertilisers that only contain nitrogen such as sulphate of ammonia. Plants need balanced foods with all the required elements to produce strong, healthy growth. Feed with Miracle-Gro All Purpose Soluble Plant Food applied over the leaves and around the roots.
Always read the label. Use pesticides safely.
