Miracle-Gro Gro Your Own Seed & Cutting Compost guarantees optimum root growth for seeds, cuttings and small seedlings. The special structure provides ideal conditions for seed germination and root growth. It has a free draining open texture with the ideal nutrient level to encourage initial growth of sensitive seeds.

This gentle compost is also ideal for growing on tiny plug plants and small seedlings while their roots are sensitive to the richer nutrient levels often found in ordinary multi-purpose compost.

Seeds

Fill seed trays or pots with Miracle-Gro Gro Your Own Seed & Cutting Compost and press down gently to below the rim. Water gently with a fine rose and sow seeds thinly. Follow the instructions on the seed packet regarding temperatures, covering and further watering.

Plug plants and seedlings

Transplant established seedlings and plug plants into trays of this compost giving space between each plant for maximum root growth. When established, transplant the resulting seedling plants into Miracle-Gro Gro Your Own Fruit & Vegetable Compost to give them room to mature.
