Murphy Sequestrene Granules
Murphy Sequestrene Granular Iron Tonic for acid-loving, ericaceous plants. Provides iron in a chelated form that can easily be taken up by plants growing in any soil. Cures iron deficiency and allows lime-hating plants to be grown in alkaline soil. One application in early spring is all that’s needed for strong growth of all your ericaceous plants, including Rhododendron, Camellia, Pieris, Skimmia and Raspberries.

Ericaceous plants
Ericaceous plants are often referred to as lime-hating or acid-loving plants. The most commonly grown ericaceous plants are Azalea, Camellia and Rhododendron. These plants thrive in a low lime environment (pH 5 to 5.5). If they are grown in soil where the pH is too high (alkaline), they produce poor growth, few flowers and the leaves tend to become yellowish in colour.
