Roundup GC is a concentrate glyphosate weedkiller that kills weeds right down to the roots so they don’t come back. Diluted in water and sprayed lightly onto weed leaves it starts working in hours.

Roundup GC Kills Bindweed

Roundup GC kills most garden weeds and grasses with a single application. You will see some visible yellowing of the leaves and stems after 48 hours. But that’s just on the outside – on the inside of the weed, the systemic action takes Roundup to all the weed’s growing points to kill the weed from the ‘inside out’. Most importantly, because Roundup kills the roots, you know that the weed is not coming back.

This easy mix liquid concentrate formulation is approved for use all around the garden, on gravel areas, paths, drives and along fences. It can be used to clean up weedy areas before planting vegetables, flowers, shrubs and to renovate overgrown areas. Apply by sprayer or a watering can fitted with a very fine rose.

Roundup GC is inactivated on contact with the soil and is then broken down by micro-organisms in the soil to allow re-planting. Children and pets can play on the treated area once dried.

Frequently asked questions

Is it safe for children and pets? open/close

All our products adhere to strict pesticide safety legislation and when used in accordance with the instructions do not pose a threat to children and pets. Children and pets need not be excluded from the treated area once the product has been given sufficient time to dry.

Where are the instructions? open/close

The instructions are attached to the back of the bottle in the form of a fold out leaflet.

How do I measure the weed killer out? open/close

The clear plastic cap has a measure in the centre.

How soon can I replant in the treated area? open/close

Roundup is only active in plants and is inactivated on contact with the soil. It is then broken down by soil micro organisms so that you can re-use the soil for re-planting. We recommend that you leave treated weeds for about 7 days before digging or cultivating the soil to allow Roundup to move to the roots of the weed.

Can I plant edibles where I have used it? open/close

Roundup is only active in plants and is inactivated on contact with the soil. It is then broken down by soil micro organisms so that you can re-use the soil for re-planting. This includes edible crops.

Can I use it on my lawn weeds? open/close

Roundup will kill weeds in the lawn, though it will also kill the lawn. Some tough lawn weeds may require this type of weed killer to eradicate them. In this case areas can be re-seeded once the product has dried.

How long does it take to work? open/close

Roundup’s systemic action sees the weed killer moving down through the plant to kill the roots. Usually, within 2 weeks, the leaf tips will start to wilt and turn brown. For larger more resistant weeds, and depending on the time of year, the process may take up to 4 weeks.
