Diluted in water and applied through a watering can over and around decorative flowers and foliage this effective slug and snail killer leaves no visible deposits that could be eaten by domestic animals.

Most pet owners are wary about using slug pellets in their garden because if misapplied or spilt, the bait could be eaten by domestic animals such as cats and dogs. But SlugClear is not a pellet. Instead it is formulated as a liquid concentrate that is dissolved in water and applied through a watering can to wet plant leaves and the surrounding soil around flowering and other decorative plants such as hostas, delphiniums, tulips and bedding plants.

The unique liquid application has several benefits. Firstly, it is invisible to pets, so there is no risk of them eating a harmful dose of slug killer pellets. Secondly, it gives control to plant-climbing snails because plant stems and foliage can be treated while this is impossible with soil applied pellets. And thirdly, because the liquid is watered onto the soil, SlugClear controls those slugs that are hiding underground. This is especially valuable because slugs often chew through tulip foliage while it is still underground, spoiling the subsequent spring display.

The 225ml bottle makes up to 75 litres of solution (sufficient to fill 17 × 1 gallon watering cans) which is enough to treat 67 sq.
