Why Should I Choose EverGreen® Complete 4 in 1?

It will help you produce a more beautiful lawn after just one simple application. It’s unique 4-in-1 formula feeds and greens the grass, kills weeds and moss plus it helps your lawn make the most of every drop of water that falls. It’s quick and easy to apply using the hand-held Spreader Pack. Just walk up and down the lawn to spread the granules in an even pattern. If you have a larger lawn, apply quickly and evenly through the wheeled Easy Spreader+.

All these improvements will help your lawn to become thicker and greener so that it will trap rain and prevent water loss. The unique Water Smart™ formula of EverGreen® Complete 4 in 1 builds strong roots to help protect your lawn against heat, drought and other stresses.

How Soon Will Results Show?

In just 7 days you will see greener grass and the moss turning brown before dying off. In the next few weeks broadleaved weeds such as white clover, daisies, dandelions will twist and turn until they fade away. While the long-lasting nutrients in EverGreen® Complete 4 in 1 continue to feed the grass so that it becomes thicker and greener over the next 6 weeks.

When and Where Do I Use It

Any Other Advice

Mowing

Avoid mowing the lawn 2-3 days before and after treatment. Do not use the first 4 mowings after treatment for mulching. They will be safe to use after being thoroughly composted for 6 months.

Watering-In

If no rain falls within 2 days, water the lawn thoroughly so that the lawn food starts to work.

Staining

Do not walk on the lawn until the product has been watered in, since moss killer can cause stubborn brown stains on clothes, paving slabs etc. Brush off immediately if accidentally spilt.

What About Children and Pets

In the absence of rain, EverGreen® Complete must be watered in.

Keep children and pets away from treated areas until dry.

Advantages:

Kills weeds and moss whilst also feeding your lawn, the fast uptake means the lawn greens up quickly. Easy to apply with spreader pack or wheeled spreader. Once its been watered in children and pets can return to the lawn

Disadvantages:

If you heavily over apply this product you can see some scorching of the grass which can take several weeks to grow through, also the moss killer ( iron sulphate) can stain hard surfaces so make sure you sweep any off if you spill it. In both cases if you fully read and follow the instructions then there won't be an issue.

Why did you change?

Reviewed 21 Jun 2016

We live in a part of France where the jelly-like clay sets like concrete in the summer, so the deep-rooted weeds establish themselves over the winter.  Evergreen used to make a two-pack SOLUBLE version of this which was REALLY effective but YOU HAVE WITHDRAWN IT!!.  These granules just roll off the leaves, especially of shiny-leaved weeds.  They don't adhere.  Also, because the granules are concentrated, the iron sulphate component sticks to your feet and then discolours any paving you walk on.  Wheeled distributors clog easily, especially if the grass is even slightly damp and hand-spreading is uneven.  The liquid product was so easy to spray, giving an even distribution and left far less residue on your boots.  I suppose you changed it because of cost.  I am strongly urge others to pressure you to bring back the soluble version!
