When to prune Dianthus

Posted 13 Jul 2015

Hi Calvera,

If the variety you have is small and just has spent flowers on it, then you would only need to dead head to encourage new growth.

If the plant you have is in large clumps and you are looking to produce new growth, then you can give it an all over cut, this can be done now, and this will encourage new shoots to grow.

Kind regards

Amy
