Rats in a shed !

Posted 14 Sep 2015

Hello Amy.

Rats will be looking for cosy Winter accomodation and can be most destructive . Likewise during the breeding season, numbers can build up rapidly.

These are good reasons to control the problem now. Scotts Miracle Gro do not have a rodenticide at present, but there are plenty around, mostly in a bait form.

Place the bait in a descrete area of the shed where rats will venture. Cover the bait to protect in from pets and wild life, but to allow access by rats. An section of drainage pipe works well.

Check the bait once a week and replace the bait when needed. When non of the bait is taken, it is likeley that the the rats have been controlled.

I hope that this is helpful.

Paul.
