Every year the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) lists its Top 10 Garden Pests. These lists are based on enquiries received by the charity's Advisory Service at RHS Garden Wisley. And the winners for 2013 are...

As in 2012, slugs and snails topped the list with enquiries at their highest level since 2002 - not surprising when you think about last year's weather! The biggest surprise was the appearance of plum moth, which has never before featured among the Top 10.
