Miracle-Gro Rose & Shrub Continuous Release Plant Food

Q1: How is the Miracle-Gro Rose and Shrub Continuous Release Plant Food fertiliser released?
A1: When the soil or compost is warm and moist (conditions needed for plant growth), pores in the coating open to release the nutrients. When the conditions are cold and ry, so preventing plant growth, the pores close and stop the release. This ensures there is little risk of underfeeding, overfeeding and wastage due to excessive leaching out of the soil or compost - something that is very common with uncoated solid feeds, especially in very wet conditions.
Q2: How much Miracle-Gro Rose and Shrub Continuous Release Plant Food should I use?
A2: In spring gently fork granules into the top soil or mix thoroughly with compost. For roses and shrubs in beds and borders, sprinkle evenly 75g around the base of each bush over the entire rooting area. For rose and shrubs in containers, sprinkle evenly 25g of granules over the planting area and lightly work into the compost (one handful is approximately 25g).
Q3: How many applications do I need?
