Her Majesty The Queen has given our Miracle Gro’wers Learning Journey gardens the royal thumbs up!
Her Majesty viewed the gardens during the royal visit at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show yesterday. The biggest thrill for everyone involved was when Her Majesty not only stopped to look at the garden, but also took time to meet some of the team who were involved in the mammoth task of growing the plants and building the gardens. She also accepted a posy of flowers grown by the schoolchildren of Nelmes Primary School, Hornchurch, Essex.
We’re very proud to announce that both Miracle Gro’wers Learning Journey gardens won an RHS Silver Flora Medal. This is a fabulous result, especially considering that the weather this spring has been horrendous for growing plants well. Even seasoned Chelsea exhibitors have struggled this year.
Congratulations to everyone concerned – especially our Miracle Gro’wers schools and schoolchildren.
