Beds and borders

Weed the area thoroughly.
Apply when soil is moist to help retain moisture.
Spread a layer of bark 5cm (2 inches) deep around plants and over bare soil.

Pathways

Weed the area thoroughly.
Brush away any dust, dirt or debris.
Spreader a layer of bark 5cm (2 inches) deep over surface.

Containers

Water plants thoroughly.
Spread a layer of bark 5cm (2 inches) deep over the top of the container.
