Q1: How is the fertiliser released?
A1: The special coating controls and regulates the release of nutrients, only releasing them when conditions are right for the plant growth and when the plants need them. Once the fertiliser has been fully released, the shell or coating, which is based on a natural resin, will eventually degrade naturally in the soil.
Q2: How much Miracle-Gro All Purpose Continuous Release Plant Food should I use?
A2: For established flowers and vegetables in the garden evenly sprinkle 75g per m² over the rooting area. For established ornamental and fruit trees evenly sprinkle 50g per metre of tree height to edges of the areas covered by the branches. For containers and hanging baskets, mix 25-45g per 10 litres of compost before planting. Use lower dose for bigger pot sizes of more than 20 litres or for sensitive plants (young plants, impatiens, etc). For new annual bedding plants add roughly a tablespoon directly into the planting hole and mix in with the soil prior to planting. For new trees, shrubs, roses and fruit bushes sprinkle 25g per 10 litres of compost or soil around the roots, before covering with soil.
