Movember Grow And Mow

Scotts Lawn Builder x Movember Partnership

Scotts Lawn Builder is proud to announce our official partnership with Movember focused on driving awareness and action around men’s health. This collaboration reflects our commitment to making a positive impact on the wellbeing of men everywhere in Australia.

By aligning with Movember’s mission, we aim to go beyond just raising awareness about improving men’s health — we want to inspire positive, long-term changes in behaviours and the environments men live in, with the goal of fostering stronger & healthier communities.

Men’s health is an issue that demands attention and action. Together with Movember, Scotts Lawn Builder is dedicated to developing understanding and encouraging conversations that lead to real change.

What is Movember?

Movember first originated as an idea by two mates (Travis Garone & Luke Slattery) in Melbourne, Australia in 2003 and has since become the leading global charity movement advocating men’s health. Movember funds programs directly and supports projects in prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health & suicide prevention.

For the last 20 years, Movember has funded over 1,320 men’s health projects around the world, challenging the status quo, shaking up men’s health and transforming the way health services reach and support men. For more info head to www.movember.com.

Where does the money go?

Movember is the leading global men’s health charity tackling mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer. Thanks to their global network of supporters, they have raised over AUD 1.5 billion for men’s health. These critical funds have powered more than 1,320 men’s health projects worldwide, from pioneering biomedical research to developing some of the largest prostate cancer registries globally.

Since taking on mental health and suicide prevention in 2006, Movember has advocated for the early recognition of mental health issues and improved clinician responses to men in distress. By fostering better social connections and educating men and their supporters, Movember hopes to ensure that more men know how to act when mental health challenges arise.

Movember is committed to advancing new research, cutting-edge treatments, healthy behaviours and advocating for inclusive, gender-responsive healthcare that caters to the unique needs of men, women and gender diverse individuals from various cultural backgrounds. In doing so, they hope to forge a future where barriers to healthy living are overcome, stigmas are removed and where everyone has an equal opportunity to live a long, healthy life.
