It promotes healthy, lush grass growth for a stronger, greener lawn.
When to use
HOW TO USE
Scotts® Lawn Builder™ Top Dress is ready to use straight from the bag, with no further additives required.
Start by preparing your lawn by mowing to a low height and removing any debris, leaves, and loose material.
FOR TOP DRESS
- Apply a 1 cm layer evenly across the lawn.
- Use a leaf rake to spread the product and avoid covering grass blades.
Water in well.
FOR OVERSEEDING
Follow steps 1 and 2 (above), then apply grass seed as per package instructions.
Water thoroughly and keep moist for at least 3 weeks until the seed establishes.
FOR UNDERLAY
Prepare the area by removing any remaining weeds and loosening the topsoil.
Level with a rake, then spread 1–2 cm of Scotts® Lawn Builder™ Top Dress evenly across the area.
For areas of poor topsoil, consider mixing the product into the existing soil to a depth of approximately 2.5 cm.
Adding a layer of Top Dress above this can help reduce weeds in the new lawn.
Water frequently, ensuring the seedbed or new turf is kept moist.
