Details & Usage

Scotts® Organic* Vege, Tomato & Herb Planting Mix is ready to use straight from the bag, with no further additives required.

AS A POTTING MIX

Select a clean pot at least 5cm wider than the current pot and partly fill with mix.
Turn the plant out of its container. Loosen the root ball gently and remove any rotten or entirely dried out roots.
Place the plant into the pot and position so the top of the root ball is 2-3cm down from the rim. Fill with potting mix and firm in gently.
Water thoroughly and protect plant from wind, heat and strong sunlight for around 5 days.

AS A PLANTING MIX

Water the plant and allow it to drain. Add a layer of mix to the planting area.
Dig a hole approximately twice the size of the plants root ball. Gently loosen the root ball and trim off any dead or damaged roots.
Partly fill the hole with mix, place plant in the centre of the hole and fill up with mix.
Press gently around the base of the plant. Water thoroughly.

ONGOING PLANT CARE

Scotts® Organic* Vege, Tomato & Herb Planting Mix contains a balanced fertiliser but additional fertiliser will be required in time, depending on plant needs.

Plants should be watered immediately after planting and frequently enough to ensure the mix remains moist but not wet. Avoid allowing plants to dry out.
