No, that’s the magic in Patio Magic! - just apply with a sprayer, watering can or use the battery powered sprayer onto your chosen surface, leave to fully dry for up to 6 hours and that’s it.
Protection will normally last up to 6-9 months after the first treatment. Subsequent treatments can help extend the life of treatment. Areas that are in the shade or damp will have a reduced period of prevention.
You will normally see the results within 2-4 days but some lichens are harder and may take longer to go.
No, Patio Magic! gets to work without the need for any scrubbing or washing. Just apply Patio Magic! and leave. Pressure washing can often make an algae problem worse in the long run as it roughens the surface encouraging rapid re-growth.
