Terms and conditions

A submission form will be required to be completed. To benefit from the warranty, we recommend contacting our careline to help support you over the growing period. Excludes lawn care products such as lawn food and lawn seed. Our target timeframe for voucher to be sent to consumer is within 14 days. The HTA voucher can be redeemed in over 1000 garden centres within the UK

For Compost (growing media) – applies in GB only, excludes NI and ROI

  1. Offer limited up to a maximum of 100L. Proof of purchase required this can either be till receipt of product and/or a photo of using the product with the plants at the beginning of the period.
  2. Consumer is expected to follow the guidance on back of pack & take reasonable care* of the plant over 3 months.
  3. If after 2-3 months the plant is not considered to be healthy then the plant will be assessed with photographic evidence versus the claims on pack, this is supported by scientific data.  Before and after photos will be required.
  4. Plants that show any signs of pests or disease will be excluded since this is beyond our control. We recommend to go to the grower for advice.
  5. The guarantee will be a HTA National Garden Scheme voucher up to the value of the pack purchased. It will not cover for replacement of the plant, the guarantee is against whether the plant is bigger, has more flowers and greener leaves.
  6. Guarantee covers between March to October(during the key growing season).
  7. Reasonable care:
    1. Regular watering (but not underwatering or overwatering).
    2. Feeding as recommended not over or underfeeding.
    3. If suffering from fungal disease and pests this will indicate the plant was unhealthy and the product has not caused these symptoms.
    4. Not planted in extreme weather conditions, e.g. frost, flood or drought which would have an effect on the plant.

For Plant Food – applies in UK and ROI

  1. Offer limited up to one pack of plant food per person in a calendar year (the same pack cannot be claimed for the following year). Proof of purchase required for the product this could be till receipt of product and/or a photo of using the product being used with the plants.
  2. If after minimum of 1 month the plant is not considered healthy the plant will be assessed versus claims on pack.  Photographic evidence is required - before and after.
