Rich organic compost provides a slow release of essential nutrients, while seaweed supports healthy root development and overall plant health.
When to use
HOW TO USE
Scotts® Organic® Seed Starter is ready to use straight from the bag, with no further additives required.
- Choose a seed raising tray or punnet suited to the size of the seeds.
- Loosely fill the container with Scotts® Organic® Seed Starter to the top, without compacting the mix.
- As a general guide, plant seeds twice as deep as their size. For smaller seeds, sprinkle them evenly over the top of the mix.
- Add more Scotts® Organic® Seed Starter to lightly cover the seeds, if required.
- Water regularly to maintain moisture and follow any specific instructions supplied with the seeds for the best results.
ONGOING PLANT CARE
Water regularly to keep the mix moist while your seeds germinate and seedlings become established.
Once seedlings are ready to be transplanted, prepare garden beds with Scotts® Organic® Soil Improver to help revitalise the soil and provide a strong foundation for healthy plants.
For transplanting into pots, fill the new container with Scotts® Organic® Potting Mix to support strong, resilient plants.
When to use?
Use Scotts® Organic® Seed Starter when raising seeds in trays or punnets and follow the instructions supplied with your seeds for the best results.
The mix can also be used when starting seedlings that will later be transplanted into garden beds or pots.

Wash hands immediately after use.
This product contains animal by-products, including feathermeal, bloodmeal, and manure. Take care when using it in areas where ruminant animals graze, and properly incorporate the product into the soil before allowing ruminants onto treated areas.
Store under cool conditions.
