HOW TO USE

Potting-on Plants:

  • Re-potting is best done in the spring, when plants are actively growing.  Before re-potting water plants well and allow to drain.

  • Put fresh compost in the bottom of a new pot.

  • Turn the old plant upside down and tap pot sharply to release.

  • Place the plant in the middle of the new pot and add more compost, firming lightly around the rootball.

  • Leave space of at least 1cm below the pot rim to allow adequate space for watering.   Water the plant well.

Growing on:

This compost provides all the necessary food for upto 6 weeks. After that time water with Miracle-Gro Azalea, Camelia & Rhododendron Continuous Release Plant Food.

RECYCLING & HANDY HINTS

ERICACEOUS PLANTS:

Ericaceous plants are often referred to as lime-hating or acid-loving plants. The most commonly grown ericaceous plants are: Azalea, Camellia and Rhododendrons. These plants thrive in a low lime environment (pH 5 to 5.5). If they are grown in soil where the pH is too high, they produce poor growth and the leaves tend to become yellowish in colour.

DID YOU KNOW THAT YOU'RE PART OF ONE OF THE WORLD'S LARGEST RECYCLING EFFORTS?

Each year, Scotts Miracle-Gro resuses thousands of tonnes of material from gardens and forests in many of our compost mixes, to help you grow plants that enhance your environment and make the World more beautiful.
