The Miracle-Gro® Feeder is a unique feeding system which is quick and easy to use. Ideal for beds, borders, pots, containers, hanging baskets and lawns. Just fill the jar with 500g of Miracle-Gro® soluble food, top up with water, attach to the hosepipe and away you go, feeding and watering at the same time!
When to use
How to use
- Unscrew the feeder from the jar.
- Pour a 500g sachet of Miracle-Gro® Soluble Food into the jar.
- Fill the jar with water from the tap. Screw the feeder head back onto the jar, click the hose, twist feed/water switch to desired position.
- Turn the tap fully on and squeeze the trigger to start feeding. Hold the feeder in the upright position and apply the plant feed evenly, thorougly wetting the soil around the roots and the foliage.
- For best results, apply Miracle-Gro® Soluble Food every 2 weeks from March to September.

When feeding your lawn, use Miracle-Gro® Water Soluble Lawn Food, which is specially formulated to give you a beautiful, green lawn in just 5 days!

Q1: What feeds can I use oin the Feeder?
A1: The Feeder is designed to use Miracle-Gro® All Purpose Soluble Plant Food, Miracle-Gro® Azalea, Camellia and Rhododendron Soluble Plant Food and Miracle-Gro® Water Soluble Lawn Food.
Q2: What area can I treat with 1 bag of feed?
A2: A bag contains 500g and will feed approx 100 sq.m of garden in 20-30 minutes given good water pressure. With lower pressure it will take longer.
Q3: Why are the crystals blue?
A3: We add a food grade water soluble blue dye to indicate when you need to refill the Miracle-Gro® Feeder.
Q4: Can I use the feeder to apply weedkillers?
A4: We do not recommend that weedkillers be applied using a hose end feeder. Weedkillers must be applied accurately; at the correct dose rate and this would not be possible with these applicators. There is also a risk to other cultivated plant growth in the garden.
Q5: My feeder isn’t emptying?
A5: The Miracle-Gro® Feeder always remains full, it operates with a simple venturi action, where the water passing through the head under pressure, draws up small quantities of the concentrated feed solution from the container. A fine jet of water constantly squirts water into the container to agitate and dissolve the Miracle-Gro® Soluble Food to form a dark blue concentrated solution. When the solution becomes a paler blue, this shows that the feed is running out and needs to be replaced. The jar remains full when in use. To empty the container of water, with the water passing through the head, turn it upside down, the water will drain out of it. Once empty, remove and fill with up to a maximum of 500g, one sachet of Miracle-Gro® Soluble Food.

This little tool made feeding my plants way easier than I expected. I’m not super experienced with gardening but the Miracle-Gro Garden Feeder took out the guesswork. Just screw it onto the hose pop in the plant food and you’re good to go. It automatically mixes the right amount while you water—super convenient. I used it on my flowers veggies and even the lawn in some spots and everything perked up within a week or two. The trigger handle is comfortable and the spray settings are helpful for different areas. It feels sturdy enough to last through the season maybe longer if you take care of it. If you’re trying to keep your garden looking good without a ton of effort this feeder is definitely worth it. Makes feeding feel like regular watering just with better results.

Miracle-Gro feeder is very convenient to use it’s economical and nice. Fits comfortably in hand when watering plants it has three watering functions - spray shower and jet. You can use with nutrient but you can also use only water and water the plants. It’s also a good feature because you do not have to change spray nozzles.I am very satisfied with this product feeding my plants in the garden and grass has never been easier. I definitely recommend it.

Very easy to use. Just add the required amount of miracle grow plant or lawn feed to the dispenser & top up with water then connect to your hose. It was very simple straightforward and no mess!

This product looked appealing and was easy to use. I was able to attach the feeder to my garden hose and used this product on my hanging baskets and shrubs. The weather has been quite warm for the last two weeks but my plants look really strong and healthy. I would recommend this product.

I used the Miracle-Gro Feeder along with the soluble lawn food and the setup was incredibly easy to use. The feeder attached right to my hose and allowed for even distribution without mess or clogging. It felt sturdy and was very straightforward to operate. The first pic is before and the second is after two weeks and to me there’s a clear difference. The lawn is greener fuller and looks much healthier overall. The feeder made application so much faster and more efficient than mixing by hand and I appreciated not having to measure out portions every time.

This is much easier than using a watering can Very easy for too use I have a back front and a side garden so as you can imagine this takes time but with this gadget it does the job in half the time that it takes with a watering . I’ve been using the miracle gro feeder now for 4 weeks using it every two weeks. It’s so easy to attach to the hose and feed the grass. My grass is very patchy after the winter and I can see a massive improvement already. Great value for money and long lasting. Simple to use and the packaging was recyclable

I picked up the Miracle-Gro Plastic Feeder to simplify feeding my garden and it's been a mixed experience. On the plus side it's straightforward to use—just attach it to your hose fill the jar with Miracle-Gro soluble plant food and spray away. The different spray patterns are handy and I did notice my plants looking more vibrant after a few uses. However the seal isn't perfect so if you're okay with the occasional hiccup and handle it with care it can be a convenient tool for feeding your garden. But if you're looking for something more durable you might want to explore other options.
