Q1: How do I use them?
A1: Break off each of the four spurs to expose the holes, which allow ants access to the bait inside the station. One station is normally sufficient to eliminate one nest. Ants entering a building in different places may mean there is more than one nest. Check the station regularly (bait should be visible through the holes) and replace used ones. Keep the station dry whilst in use. If using outside, place the station near the nest and cover with a tile or brick to keep it dry. Leave alone, the ants will get used to it and it will eventually kill them off.
Q2: Can I use these indoors?
A2: Yes, but not on areas where there are food stuffs stored or in preparation areas.
Q3: Can these be used outdoors?
A3: Yes, but we suggest covering with a tile or brick to keep it dry.
Q4: How does the product work?
A4: The bait stations contain a bait which is highly attractive to ants. Worker ants collect the bait and take it back to their nest and share it with the other ants in the nest, including the queen. The activity of the ants outside the nest will normally stop within 3-6 days and the whole colony is virtually eliminated in one to three weeks.
Q5: How many do I need to use?
A5: One Bait Station is normally sufficient to eliminate one nest.
Q6: How long do they last?
A6: They last approximately three months from opening.
