The Miracle-Gro® Drop Spreader has variable settings to apply lawn food or grass seed. For best results use with Miracle-Gro® granular lawn treatments and/or grass seed products only. The Miracle-Gro® Drop Spreader has a spreading width of 45cm.

How to use
The Miracle-Gro® Drop Spreader is easy and quick to use.
Simply adjust the setting according to the product you are using our spreader settings table and away you go. There’s an on/off grip handle so starting and stopping the application of the granules is easy and accurate when you get to the end of a strip.
Walk up and down the lawn, The Miracle-Gro® Drop Spreader creates a strip of granules directly below the moving spreader which is approximately 45cm (18in) wide. When returning, align the arrow on the hopper above the tyre marks made in the previous strip.

Medium-sized lawn areas. Always use a spreader for an even and easy application of granular lawn seed and lawn care products.
When to use
Spreaders can be used throughout the year. They can be used for a range of lawn care tasks such as; seeding a new area of the lawn, feeding/fertilising your lawn as well as treating moss and killing weeds. Always read the pack instructions.
Q1: What setting do I use?
A1: You can find most spreader settings in our spreader settings table
Q2: What speed do I need to walk when using the spreader?
A2: The recommended walking speed is approximately 8.3 metres in 10 seconds.
Q3: How do I maintain the spreader?
A3: After each use, pour any leftover product back into the original packaging and wash the spreader thoroughly over the lawn to remove all product clinging to the spreader, particularly around the axle. Hot water may be required to remove stubborn residues. Allow the spreader to dry before safe storage. Lubricate the axle bushings regularly using a light spray lubricant. Do not use heavy oils or grease as they can attract debris, which can cause premature wear.

Fast Miracle grow spreader

I was very pleased to have been chosen to test this Miracle Grow Drop Spreader. I used to use a hand grow spreader which came with the Grow spreader seeds which took long to use this has come in very handy as we have a big lawn at the back and front side of the property. It is very easy to use with settings from the top you just have to pour in the miracle grown seeds in the Spreader and push it along to spread on the grass. My lawn has become very green after using this spreader as it has done the job very fast for me.

Love the clever design especially the fact it has an inbuilt stand. Makes it an easy product to use and also like the colour as it feels like a garden tool. Decent size to fit enough product in without being too bulky. Very easy to assemble.

I recently used the Miracle-Gro Drop Spreader for my lawn care routine and I’m genuinely impressed with how easy and effective it was. The spreader is lightweight yet sturdy making it simple to maneuver across different parts of the yard even on uneven terrain. I used it primarily for applying lawn seed and the drop mechanism delivered a consistent controlled distribution without wasting product or over-seeding areas. The adjustable settings were intuitive allowing me to tailor the flow depending on the product I was using. It made the whole seeding process much quicker and more precise than doing it by hand and I could already see healthier more even growth in just a couple of weeks. For anyone looking to upgrade their lawn care toolkit this spreader is definitely worth it.

It’s a Decent size spreader and holds a lot of product. Easy to assemble and easy to use and has good variety of spreading settings so can be used with multiple different products like feeder or seeding. It feels pretty Sturdy and good quality.

The Miracle-Gro drop spreader was very easy to assemble which took around 15 minutes. Once assembled felt sturdy and dealt with the wheels dealt with the terrain well. When spreading the seeds gave good coverage on the turf. Will now hope for the best with the growing process.

What a brilliant tool. Super easy to assemble with clear instructions.Took maybe five minutes to put together.It is so versatile as you can use for seed or feed depending on size.The precision is fantastic as it gave a clear line so marked our boundaries perfectly.Looked really neat when finished.Highly reccomend this for both new and established lawns.

This was very easy to set up and to use. Dispersed grass seed and feed evenly and thoroughly. It's very lightweight so it was easily manoeuvred around the garden without too much trouble.

The miracle- gro drop spreader is very quick and easy to assemble only took us 5 minutes. Seems sturdy enough so will last for a long time. Very easy to manoeuvre and does the job. Can't fault in ant way. Does not take up much space if not in use you can easily take off the handle wheels and store in the box provided. The setting is easy adjustable to the product you are using- if in doubt you can check the spreader settings table online. Spreads the granules very evenly and you just need to push it like a wheel barrow. Great help for lawn maintenance. Would recommend to someone with small- medium garden.

This seed spreader came in a well packed box with easy instructions to follow. It took me about 20/30 minutes to put together. The only thing is the putting on the wheels and using the pin you have to pull the two sides of the pin and wrap them around the wheel to secure it. I couldn't do this without a set of pliers as the metal pin wasn't easy to move into place. But apart from that it was an easy put together and using the seed with it it only took about 7 mins to apply the grass seed to my lawn.

This has been a godsend. It was so simple to put together. Instructions are so easy to follow. I don’t think it took more than a few minutes and we were ready to improve our lawn care. This lawn is only in its second year of growth and having sown the seed by hand this was a huge step up for us. It’s been great at delivering the correct amount of feed to our grass. The link to the website for allowing us to correctly use the products were also a great help. Everything we needed they have thought of. The spreader has multi purpose settings and we used it for a feed mix and also a seed mix too. Both of these applications using the spreader went down seamlessly. I will definitely be recommending this product and it will also be a staple piece of equipment now in our lawn care Thank you

The Miracle-Gro Drop Spreader is a versatile tool designed for the precise application of lawn care products such as fertilizers and grass seeds. This was received as a flat pack so needed to be built. It took around 15 minutes to assemble together using the provided instructions. When building it did not seem very sturdy or worth the cost. It is very manual and all I feel it does it just spread the seeds across the lawn nothing more. It does do it evenly but I feel like for the cost it could be less manual. Anyway it is good and gets the job done. The handles are quite long. Although I felt it was a one size fits all so if you’re a little bit taller you will need to bend down a fair bit for the handles. I feel it could have been more adjustable for different heights. It comes with a brake and you can store it upwards as the handles also have feet to them and it keeps it steady when taking breaks or storing in the shed. The Miracle-Gro Drop Spreader is a reliable choice for homeowners seeking an efficient and user-friendly tool for lawn care applications. While it offers precise and even distribution of products attention to regular maintenance is essential to address potential durability concerns and ensure long-term performance.
