Roundup® Weedkiller Path Optima Ready to Use is glyphosate free and comes in the iconic green pack you know and love. This weedkiller kills weeds and moss fast with visible results appearing within hours. It can be used around permeable paths, patios, driveways and gravel areas to suppress the top-growth of many perennial weeds such as dandelion and sowthistle. It can also be used to kill clover, chickweed, cmmon groundsel, black medick and other weeds. This pack can treat up to 33m².
When to use
How to use
SHAKE WELL BEFORE USE. Wear gloves and enclosed footwear.
- Press and hold the tab on the top of the sprayer, twist nozzle ¼ turn to ‘ON’/Spray position.
- Hold the sprayer approx. 50 cm away from the target weed and spray to lightly wet the weeds, avoiding run-off.
- Rotate the nozzle back to ‘OFF’/‘STOP’ position after use.
Keep children and pets away from treated areas until spray has dried.
Where to use
Use to kill weeds on gravel areas, permeable paths, driveways, patios overlying soil and along fences. Ideal before cropping and ground clearance before cultivation.
Can be used to clean up weedy or mossy ground before planting veg, flowers, bushes and trees, and to renovate overgrown areas.
For the control of weed and mosses around ornamental garden plants and trees, on areas not intended to bear vegetation.
Most effective when applied to newly established weeds or those less than 10–15 cm tall.
Do not direct spray or allow spray drift onto cultivated plants and lawn as this product destroys all green plant parts.
When to use
Apply in warm, calm, dry, conditions during April – November when weeds are actively growing.
Do not apply when there is a risk of frost or drought as weeds will not be actively growing.
Reapply if it rains within 3 hours of application. Reapply 7 to 21 days if required. Maximum 4 applications per year.
Coverage
This pack treats up to 33 m². Application rate: 300 mL per 10 m².
Active ingredient
Contains 43.1 g/L Pelargonic acid as an Emulsion, oil in water (EW).

- Protection during/in use: KEEP OFF SKIN/AWAY FROM EYES. WASH OFF SPLASHES IMMEDIATELY. WASH HANDS AND EXPOSED SKIN AFTER USE.
- Environmental protection: To protect aquatic organisms and non-target plants do not apply on impermeable hard surfaces such as asphalt, concrete, cobblestones, tarmac, paving, patio and other situations with a high risk of run-off. Direct spray away from ponds and other surface water bodies. Risk to non-target insects or other arthropods. Avoid improper release into the environment. Do not contaminate water with the product and its container. Do not empty into drains.
- Storage and disposal: KEEP PRODUCT IN ORIGINAL CONTAINER, tightly closed in a safe place. Protect from frost. KEEP AWAY FROM FOOD, DRINK AND ANIMAL FEEDING STUFFS. KEEP PRODUCT AWAY FROM CHILDREN AND PETS. Do not re-use container for any other purpose.

At first we thought it worked but it didn’t the weeds still came through straight away. We used the whole bottle on our driveway. It was easy enough to use with the spray feature.

I received the Roundup Weedkiller Path Optima and tried this on the weeds in my garden area all around the path area and left it on for two days it worked really well. You need to be patient to see the results. I think its great value for money and easy and safe to use.

It was easy enough to do you just spray and hope for the best and I do mean hope because for me this didn't really work I still have plenty of weeds between my flags to show for it I personally wouldn't buy this product

It works as it says. Very easy to use and I was worried if it affects my plants in garden but everything was fine. Instructions are clear and I’m sure it’s great value for money as one bottle surely last a year - you can do up to 4 applications per year.

This is an effective weed killer. Easy to spray onto the weeds. Sprayed on the weeds and they had gone within 48 hours. You will need a few bottles if you have a big area to do.

This product works great does exactly as it says! Application is super easy and feels like a good quality spray. The only downside is it isn't pet friendly but that's fine when you know. Overall great product and would recommend.

I've been struggling with moss and weeds building up on my garden path and garden wall for ages and always find cleaning it to be a massive chore. But with Roundup maintaining my garden is so much easier. I followed the instructions and sprayed the solution on the weeds/moss on a dry day and it didn't take long for them to die. Really simple and for a great price too.

Defnetly killed the weeds within a couple of days. (Excuse the rubbish in the photo that has been blown by the wind into my driveway). Recently had our back garden completely relandscapedthe driveway is next.This roundup will ensure our garden and driveway does not get overrun with weeds again! I made sure I had gloves on and kept my cat in for a day to ensure no-one was affected. Very easy product to use!

It's been a few days and already the weeds are no more. It's great using something that is safe for the environment and animals. The trigger spray was easy to use as some sprays can be really hard to press continually. I'll be purchasing from now on as a great product and great price.

I’ve been using Roundup Weed Killer Path Optima Concentrate in my garden and it has quickly become my go-to solution for keeping my garden paths and driveways weed-free. Only sprayed a little to test for now but so far so good. Sprayed a little as a tester patch. Nothing happened for the first 24 hours but on day 2 all the weeds and green moss had shrivelled up and died off so I'm pretty impressed. The product seems really effective and quick to respond. My only complaint would be for me I'd need a much bigger bottle which I know you can buy. I think it will be a bit tedious and tiresome having to continually squirt and press on the trigger handle would be sore on my wee arthritic hands. Perfect if you only have the odd weed or two here and there.
