Roundup® Weedkiller Total Optima is glyphosate free and comes in the iconic green pack you know and love. This product is a pre-mixed ready to use general purpose weedkiller and is ideal for use on weedy flower beds, vegetable patches and all around the garden. Once sprayed the active ingredient – pelargonic acid – starts working immediately, gives results in 3 hours and breaks down in soil naturally. Weeds will be dead in under 24 hours (if used in optimal conditions), leaving the area ready for replanting in just 3 days. The bottle is made from 50% recycled plastic and is all recyclable, along with the trigger.
When to use
How to use
SHAKE WELL BEFORE USE. Wear gloves and enclosed footwear.
- Press and hold the tab on the top of the sprayer, twist nozzle ¼ turn to ‘ON’/Spray position.
- Hold the sprayer approx. 50 cm away from the target weed and spray to lightly wet the weeds, avoiding run-off.
- Rotate the nozzle back to ‘OFF’/‘STOP’ position after use.
Keep children and pets away from treated areas until spray has dried.
Where to use
Use to kill weeds on flower beds, borders, vegetable patches, around roses, shrubs, hedges, greenhouses and along fences. Ideal before cropping and ground clearance before cultivation.
Can be used to clean up weedy ground before planting vegetables, flowers, bushes and trees, and to renovate overgrown areas.
For the control of weeds around ornamental garden plants, trees and in areas not intended to bear vegetation.
Most effective when applied to newly established weeds or those less than 10–15 cm tall.
Do not direct spray or allow spray drift onto cultivated plants and lawn as this product destroys all green plant parts.
When to use
Apply in warm, calm, dry, conditions during April – November when weeds are actively growing.
Do not apply when there is a risk of frost or drought as weeds will not be actively growing.
Reapply if it rains within 3 hours of application. Reapply 7 to 21 days if required. Maximum 4 applications per year.

This pack treats up to 33 m². Application rate: 300 mL per 10 m².
Active ingredient
Contains 43.1 g/L Pelargonic acid as an Emulsion, oil in water (EW).

- Environmental protection: To protect aquatic organisms and non-target plants do not apply on impermeable hard surfaces such as asphalt, concrete, cobblestones, tarmac, paving, patio and other situations with a high risk of run-off. Direct spray away from ponds and other surface water bodies. Risk to non-target insects or other arthropods. Avoid improper release into the environment. Do not contaminate water with the product and its container. Do not empty into drains.
- Storage and disposal: KEEP PRODUCT IN ORIGINAL CONTAINER, tightly closed in a safe place. Protect from frost. KEEP AWAY FROM FOOD, DRINK AND ANIMAL FEEDING STUFFS. KEEP PRODUCT AWAY FROM CHILDREN AND PETS. Do not re-use container for any other purpose.

Used this product over the space of a week at first it wasn’t killing the weeds just discolouring them but after a cpl more days use it taken the weeds totally away I was fine to use with my dog’s as long as it had dried but I only used overnight

I’ve been using Roundup Weedkiller Total for a few months now and overall it does what it promises. Weeds start to wither within a day or two and most are completely gone after a week. It’s easy to apply with the spray nozzle and I like that it works on a wide range of weed types even stubborn ones like dandelions and thistles.One downside is that it can kill grass and other nearby plants if you’re not careful so precise application is important. Also I wish it worked a bit faster on tougher patches.Overall a reliable product if you need a strong broad-spectrum weedkiller—just use it responsibly.

Omg this product is amazing! The weeds I sprayed were already starting to die in a matter of hours and were completely dead the next day! Application was simple point and spray! Bottle is easy to use and great value for money and it doesn't harm the environment around you!

An amazing weed killer! It is extremely strong and I didn’t realise how strong and fast working it would be but after spraying the weeds they started to wilt and die within the hour. A little definitely goes a long way with this product but it has been very effective. Would buy again.

This worked really well for getting rid of tough weeds. I noticed a big difference just a few days after spraying iIt’s easy to use.You do have to be careful where you spray because it’s strong and will kill anything it touches. Overall very effective.You need to wear gloves and it can cause irritation to eyes so googles are recommended. It's safe for animals and children once dry so I'd recommend using it on a sunny day .

I received this product for free from Influenster in exchange for my honest review.I was really impressed when I tried this Roundup weedkiller Total Optima spray. It worked with just one application and it was really easy to use.The cap is child-safe and you need to press quite hard down to open it. You spray it directly onto the plant on a dry day and after a few days the plants started to dry out and die.It made cleaning my paved areas around the house much easier and so far I haven't had any new weeds growing in the areas I sprayed. I'm hoping this will last.I'm really impressed and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an effective and easy-to-use weedkiller.

Extremely effective and fast acting weed killer.I used this around my slabs and worked a treat.Pretty good value for money too!I personally prefer the pump sprays as they are less strenuous but the product itself is fantastic much better than other named brands I’ve used previously

Having sprayed the Dandelions that are growing through the gaps in the paving in the back yard it was nice to see that 48hrs later they were well and truly dead. I liked the effectiveness of this weedkiller from Roundup it does what it says it will do.

After a few days of applying the spray the weeds to dry out and die but it doesn’t keep them away and they do come back. It’s a quick fix rather than a permanent solution.

This weed killer work well and fast. It sprays on well and leaves a white residue so that you can see where you have sprayed. It has a distinctive scent but more soapy than chemical so surprisingly pleasant. I sprayed the weeds in my garden on one afternoon and by the following afternoon they were all brown drooping and dead. Would definitely purchase this…I’ve already used the whole bottle which covered a good area but if need to fight more weeds I’ll be looking for this on the shelf for sure!

This is a fantastic weed killer that really works to get rid of pesky weeds. Now the weather is getting better the weeds have started growing so this is the perfect time to use it. I was intrigued by the Roundup weedkiller as we've struggled with weeds on our front. I honestly couldn't believe how effective it was. I used gloves to apply and closed shoes as advised. It sprayed onto the weeds easily and has a safety part on the nozzle to close it after use. If you look at the before and after you can see how it eliminated the weeds. It was fast and effective. I'd recommend and definitely use it again.

This weed killer is very good it killed my weeds in just 5 days. The spray is very wide so you don’t need a lot weed killer on the weeds. The bottle and the trigger are recyclable which is good for the environment. The only thing that I can find fault with is that it is not pet friendly you have to keep animals away from it for at least two hours until it evaporates.

Absolutely brilliant product. Will definitely be buying it again 💯 value for money. The spay bottle was easy to use and was very precise with the application. It worked over night and was very very effective. It’s seems to be non damaging to the environment around it too.

I was sceptical and now very impressed. Instructions are easy to follow but need to take precaution (ppe) and ensure kids and animals are not around. I got results in 5 days - weed of different kind is gone. You cannot use it more than 4 times a year as per instruction but looking on places where I’ve sprayed roundup it would not needed another go - goes far as only small amount needed.
