Roundup® Weedkiller Path Optima Ready to Use is glyphosate free and comes in the iconic green pack you know and love. This weedkiller kills weeds and moss fast with visible results appearing within hours. It can be used around permeable paths, patios, driveways and gravel areas to suppress the top-growth of many perennial weeds such as dandelion and sowthistle. It can also be used to kill clover, chickweed, cmmon groundsel, black medick and other weeds. This 5 litre Pump ‘n Go allows for coverage of a larger area, up to 165m².
When to use
How to use
SHAKE WELL BEFORE USE. Wear gloves and enclosed footwear.
- CONNECT - Cut the white tie to release the hose and wand. Connect the hose to the pack as shown. This is a quick couple system, so once in place it cannot be removed without force.
- EXTEND WAND - Lift sprayer off the bottle, push the yellow button while pulling the lance into spray position.
- PUMP - Pump the handle 25-30 times for up to 10 minutes of pressure spray. After pumping, push the handle down and turn clockwise to lock into carry position.
- SPRAY ‘N GO - Adjust spray pattern by turning the nozzle. Aim 50 cm from target weed and press white trigger. Spray to lightly wet the leaves avoiding run off.
- AFTER USE - Push the yellow button and retract the wand to its original position, clip it onto the top of the pack for storage and to prevent accidental release of spray solution.
- STORE - Push the pump handle down, turn both the pump handle and cap anti-clockwise to relieve pressure, then retighten before storage.
Keep children and pets away from treated areas until spray has dried.
Where to use
Use to kill weeds on gravel areas, permeable paths, driveways, patios overlying soil and along fences. Ideal before cropping and ground clearance before cultivation.
Can be used to clean up weedy or mossy ground before planting veg, flowers, bushes and trees, and to renovate overgrown areas.
For the control of weed and mosses around ornamental garden plants and trees, on areas not intended to bear vegetation.
Most effective when applied to newly established weeds or those less than 10–15 cm tall.
Do not direct spray or allow spray drift onto cultivated plants and lawn as this product destroys all green plant parts.
When to use
Apply in warm, calm, dry, conditions during April – November when weeds are actively growing.
Do not apply when there is a risk of frost or drought as weeds will not be actively growing.
Reapply if it rains within 3 hours of application. Reapply 7 to 21 days if required. Maximum 4 applications per year.
Coverage
This pack treats up to 165 m². Application rate: 300 mL per 10 m².
Active ingredient
Contains 43.1 g/L Pelargonic acid as an Emulsion, oil in water (EW).

- Protection during/in use: KEEP OFF SKIN/AWAY FROM EYES. WASH OFF SPLASHES IMMEDIATELY. WASH HANDS AND EXPOSED SKIN AFTER USE.
- Environmental protection: To protect aquatic organisms and non-target plants do not apply on impermeable hard surfaces such as asphalt, concrete, cobblestones, tarmac, paving, patio and other situations with a high risk of run-off. Direct spray away from ponds and other surface water bodies. Risk to non-target insects or other arthropods. Avoid improper release into the environment. Do not contaminate water with the product and its container. Do not empty into drains.
- Storage and disposal: KEEP PRODUCT IN ORIGINAL CONTAINER, tightly closed in a safe place. Protect from frost. KEEP AWAY FROM FOOD, DRINK AND ANIMAL FEEDING STUFFS. KEEP PRODUCT AWAY FROM CHILDREN AND PETS. Do not re-use container for any other purpose.

It was very easy to use thanks to the pump and go system no mixing and extra equipment needed. It worked quickly on the weeds growing in my path and driveway.

This done the job it was fabulous don't have any weeds growing back at all. Super easy to use you just have to spray it doesn't take long at all. Excellent value for money as they don't grow back. Child safe aswell.

I’ve tried many weed killers over the years and this one really is amazing! The pump ‘n go feature makes light work of previously using a trigger spray. After approximately 25 pumps I had minutes of a continuous jet aimed directly at the weed!Within hours I could see the product working and then overnight I just pulled the weeds up.The handle can be locked in place for ease of carrying.

This is a really brilliant weed-kill. The pack is absolutely fantastic. It’s easy to use via the spray nozzle and also reusable with refills. After application you can see the weed browning in few hours. It’s a big container and our garden path is big but was still sufficient. Defo must buy for path weed kill.

Was very easy to assemble took less than a minute and was ready to use! Had some unwanted weeds coming through the flags and some nettles behind son’s garden play house sprayed it all had a look next day and all gone! Nettlesweeds the lot! And didn’t even use that much plenty left to be used plenty more times! Really impressive product!

Very easy to use with minimal effort. It covered all our garden and still have some left. What i noticed compared to other versions compared to this is that this one doesn’t turn our payment tiles white. So far no weeds have grown back and I hope it would last into winter. I like that i can just buy the refill and reuse the pump so is less expensive.

Good product. Really easy to use. It does exactly what it said it would. I noticed the weeds starting changing within 30/45 minutes. The only down side to it is that the hose is short so it's a bit of back killer. But good all round and it cleared the paths a treat! Will definitely buy again.

I have attached before and after pictures of two areas where I used this weedkiller. One was a patch of persistent weeds and another was patches of moss growing on artificial grass. The weedkiller was very effective on both killing weeds within a couple of days.

This is such an effective weed killer which is very convenient and portable. It requires no batteries or wires so could be used for wider area without worrying about running out of batteries. It sprays evenly and covers a larger area I used it all over my garden and within few days noticed a massive reduction in weeds. It’s very effective and a great addition to my gardening routine the spray bottle can be refilled as required . I will highly recommend and continue using it.

Difficult to use garden weed killer

This item came well packaged and secured with zip ties to ensure no spills I was hopeful on arrival due to my well overdue garden needing a good layer or weedkiller to clear it all up due to my house being a project the garden was very much full of weeds so this product came as the perfect time! Upon opening I followed the card and easily got the product open and attached the tube the bottle is heavy and the handle is not good at all feels like it’s going to snap at any moment and not comfortable at all to manner around you have to pump the bottle to get spray after following the instructions the product came out as a very wear sorry looking dribble at best the attachment fell off immediately so I can’t comment if it’s able to spray as I was unable to get it back on.After carrying the bottle around the garden I managed to dribble the product on the weeds and left it to bask in the sunshine after a few hours there was no changes as it says there will be on the box after a few days the weeds are still very much there and show no signs of dying off or going brown etc which I was expect if i was going to pull them out by hand which it was I was going to do however they were still very much firmly in the ground. I will try again and update however so far I am disappointed in this product if I can find a way to remove from the container I may have more luck in my own spray bottle however as it stands I don’t think it’s worth the amount of effect to get a slight dribble I don’t think enough product comes out for it to be effective so overall I would not purchase this or expect to make any difference to my weeds - I will update my review on next using the product however the box recommends up to 4 times a year so we will see!

The Roundup Pump 'N Go Weed Killer is a game-changer it’s helped tackle stubborn weeds without the hassle of mixing solutions or dealing with cumbersome spray bottles. It was very easy to set up and the built-in pump system allows for continuous spraying making it effortless to cover a large area without constantly squeezing a trigger. It quickly gets to work the smaller weeds started wilting within hours. It definitely gets the job done with minimal effort and helps keep outdoor spaces looking neat and tidy. I love the packaging love how it's a pump and u can control how much you use. Its very easy to put away & store. And it's easy to lock the pump so it can't be used but carried. I wouldn't class it as a safety lock as its really easy to turn. It doesn't have a strong smell and doesn't stain the slabs or paving which I was quite surprised about. Once sprayed I waited afew hours (5) to see if there was any change and there wasn't even though the bottle states you will see results within hours. However the next day when I checked all the weeds I had sprayed had wilted some of them started to scrunch up. So it does work . Overall I would buy as its easy to use and does what it says on the tub

Upon claiming this i was abit skeptical as to how it’d work considering I’d never seen this before however it really did exceed my expectations. The pesticide doesn’t have a nasty unpleasant scent and the pressure head is very easy and efficient to use. It is very easy to turn off and looks very durable.
