Want to grow veg, but only have a patio or room for a few pots or window boxes? Well, don’t worry it really is possible – and it’s easy. Just about every type of veg can be grown in containers, so now’s the time to grow your own urban veg garden. Geoff Hodge, resident expert at LoveTheGarden.com, writer, BBC broadcaster and author of the RHS Allotment Handbook and the RHS Allotment Journal, will show you how to do it.
You can’t beat the excitement of growing, picking and eating fresh fruit and veg from your own patch. Here to help you get started is Paul Patton, BBC broadcaster, grow your own expert at LoveTheGarden.com and regular gardening question time panellist. Get some great ideas on how to start your plot or develop what you’ve got, as well as help solving some common problems. Before you know it your patch will be bursting with delicious crops and you’ll be eating juicy strawberries, peas from the pod, aromatic herbs and so much more.
